Types of Outerwears - Shawls, Stoles and Ponchos
Fashion has gone change, from bad to worse or from good to better. If we talk about outerwear, they have become a part of an outfit and not just an accessory or requirement. A coat as a heavier garment for cold weather and jackets for mild weather in recent times the names coat and jacket seem to go hand in hand. Now to differentiate between the two the term winter coat or light jacket is used. The standard winter coat can range from waist length to long and classy. They are customarily made simply to keep you warm, but can also be a fashion statement. - MQ3UWN99TCP6

Ponchos and Shawls; ponchos go aroung your neck and do not have any sleeves. Shawls are somewhat similar to ponchos because they drape over your shoulders; however shawls wrap around your shoulders not your neck. Shawls, also called wraps or stoles are a quick wand wasy way to cover your shoulders without wearing a jacket.
